Defending Ukraine and Poland against Russian Cyberattacks
The telecom networks of Ukraine and Poland have unique visibility and intelligence around the Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) of Russian cyber threat actors. This talk will share Orange Polska’s recent experience of working with telco partners and peers in Poland and Ukraine to share cyber threat intelligence and protect their digital economies and societies.
Irek currently works in the CERT Orange Polska team, where he is responsible for the Cyber Threat Intelligence process. During his career as an expert in the cybersecurity field, he took charge of managing the incident response process. In this capacity, he coordinated cyber incidents as the head of the Incident Response Team, ensuring that incident handling aligns with established plans and industry best practices. He also facilitated communication and collaboration with other teams, including CERTs, CSIRTs, and SOCs.
Irek finds great satisfaction in analysis, which serves as a continuous learning process for him.
