Rowland will discuss evolving state of the art vs the emerging state of play in control plane threats and the implications for threat intelligence production, sharing, & consumption by practitioners and policymakers.
Rowland Corr is Vice President of Government Relations at Enea where he heads engagement with National Competent Authorities in telecoms and cyber security including regulators, cybersecurity agencies, and other government stakeholders. Rowland was recently invited to participate as an expert in a public hearing of the European Parliament’s PEGA Committee of Inquiry to investigate Pegasus and equivalent surveillance spyware. Prior to joining Enea, Rowland served in Ireland’s Department of Defence in interdepartmental advisory and international engagement roles on security matters including cybersurveillance, non-proliferation, and hybrid threats. Rowland holds a master’s degree in International Strategy and Diplomacy from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Leadership from the University of Oxford.
