Edgard Rodriguez, RogersEdgard is a cybersecurity leader with over 20 years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, IT risk advisory, and critical infrastructure protection. As Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence & Research at Rogers Communications, he leads the organization’s cyber intelligence program, providing executive leadership with actionable intelligence on emerging threats impacting the telecom industry. He plays a key role in bridging cybersecurity, fraud, and cybercrime intelligence with business strategy, ensuring a proactive defense against evolving cyber risks.

A recognized industry collaborator, Edgard co-chaired the Canadian Telecommunication Cyber Protection (CTCP) Working Group in 2011 and 2019, supporting national cyber defense efforts. He remains an active member of the Canadian telecommunication Cyber Protection( CTCP) group and FS-ISAC, driving intelligence-sharing initiatives to protect Canada’s critical infrastructure. Over his seven years at Rogers, he has built strategic partnerships with global security agencies and industry peers, strengthening cyber resilience across the telecommunications sector.
